I have a cellet cell phone case for my blackberry pearl. There is a magnet at the bottom of the case that puts the phone to sleep when holstered but i would like to remove this option. Removing the magnet is not really an option due to the fact that it is covered by leather and would ruin the aesthetics of the case, and removing from the inside would create an environment that would create scratches. I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on how to demagnatize the magent. Heating is not really an option due to the leather.

I bought the stick-on jewels for a dollar at Jo-Ann Fabrics and they slide and are not stable. Would some type of glue or tape help? If you know, please be specific.
